Blaxcapade, a portmanteau of ‘Black’ and ‘escapade’, is an aural ‘innerview’ series. It archives adventures and fantasies of Black people who have passed through Dartmouth.

The focus on fantasy might lead some to say it’s a futuristic archive, but dreams draw on what their hosts have already known, so Blaxcapade also tells histories. It bends time in this way, synthesizing past, present, and possibility.
